For many, the picturesque countryside of Italy is the perfect place for a dream holiday. Summer sun, small winding roads through a quilted landscape. Hilltop castles and villages. And ofcourse, the best food and wine!
For me (Francesca, Italian by birth) living here is the icing on the cake. Having lived and worked in England with Carl, we were fortunate enough to buy a small Hamlet and get married in our new Italian home town Visone.
Now we have opened the doors of our holiday accomodation to share this way of life with you. Come visit Casa Morei, an historical Italian Hamlet. Ci vediamo presto!

Our services. Easy & carefree.
Breakfast
We offer to our self-catering guests a home made buffet style breakfast served in the court yard area in the beautiful morning sun at €12pp. Advanced notice required.
BBQ evening
On request we host an alfresco barbecue evening at €35pp served on our terrace, where we all eat together enjoying a traditional home made three course meal (Carl’s speciality is the barbecue) includes wines, coffee and to finish a home made limoncello.
Honesty bar
Our honesty bar is open to all our guests. Just enjoy a selection of beers, wines & spirits. All that is required is that your write down your consumptions which are added to your bill at checkout, easy and carefree.

Words simply cannot do justice to the property, area or Francesca and Carl as hosts. We have never stayed anywhere as beautiful or experienced such incredibly welcoming people as Francesca and Carl, they simply cannot do enough for you and are always on hand to assist should you need it. The cottage is beautifully clean and comfortable, the pool area is beautiful, the views are stunning. Francesca is an amazing cook and Carl makes a fabulous Aperol Spritz!! Thank you both so much. We cannot wait to return!

Casa Morei è un vero gioiellino! Piccolo borgo immerso nella natura, avvolto dal verde e dal silenzio. Vi è inoltre una bellissima vista sulle colline: fare colazione o prendere un aperitivo, seduti sul divanetto in giardino, vista colline da’ proprio serenità! Ci siamo inoltre goduti la graziosa piscina a disposizione nostra e degli altri ospiti. Molto caratteristico il piccolo bar ad “accesso libero”. E che dire dei padroni di casa: davvero squisiti! Francesca e Carl sono davvero gentilissimi, sempre disponibili, simpatici accoglienti ma non invadenti. Sensazione di estrema libertà, tranquillità, accoglienza. Non vediamo l’ora di tornare da loro.

Nous avons été accueillis par Carl et Francesca qui sont d’une gentillesse sans faille. Ils sont serviables, à l’écoute et disponible. Le logement était parfait, tout le confort et le nécessaire était sur place. Nous avons pu prendre un délicieux petit déjeuner que Francesca avait preparé! Et Carl concocte de délicieux Spritz merveilleusement bien dosé! Prailleurs la vie est époustouflante!
